ORTHOFLEX FORTE® is an injectable visco-elastic solution with hyaluronic acid 30 mg/2 ml, used for the treatment of osteoarthritis and for protecting the articular cartilage. It is administered intra-articularly, exclusively by a specialist physician.

What is ORTHOFLEX FORTE®?

ORTHOFLEX FORTE® is a viscosupplementation product used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, helping to improve joint function and to restore the properties of the synovial fluid.

Composition

• Hyaluronic acid: 30 mg / 2 ml
• Molecular weight: 2.4 – 2.9 MilDa
• Sterile pre-filled BD® (Becton Dickinson) 2 ml syringe

The role of hyaluronic acid

• Lubrication and cushioning — Hyaluronic acid binds water and forms a viscous gel that reduces friction between the joint surfaces and protects the cartilage.
• Supports tissue regeneration — It stimulates the development of cartilage and bone, favouring the production of new cells and tissues.
• Reduces inflammation — It helps diminish the pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis.

When is it recommended?

• Osteoarthritis (arthrosis) grade 1 and 2
• Joint pain
• Stiffness and reduced mobility
• Joint swelling
• Protection of the articular cartilage

In which joints can it be used?

ORTHOFLEX FORTE® can be administered in most synovial joints: knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, fingers.
